This Privacy Policy explains how WealthPop (“WealthPop”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), operated by Michael Reynolds LLC dba WealthPop, collects, uses, and protects information when you use our website and application at wealthpop.app (the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to this Policy.
Information we collect
We collect only what we need to provide the Service:
Account information
When you create an account, we collect your email address and a password. Authentication and passwords are handled by our authentication provider (Supabase); we never see or store your password in plain text.
Brand profile
When you submit your firm’s website URL, we fetch that public page to extract brand signals (colors, fonts, logo, and publicly visible text) and build a brand profile (voice, audience, services, and content topics). This brand profile is saved to your account.
Generated content
Posts, captions, image prompts, and images you generate are created at your request and associated with your account.
Email content you share by BCC
If you choose to use the inbound email integration, we receive copies of any emails you BCC to your unique WealthPop address, process them as described in Inbound email data below, and immediately discard them. This integration is entirely optional and only ever processes messages you explicitly BCC.
Technical data
Our hosting and infrastructure providers automatically process limited technical data (such as IP address and browser type) in server logs to operate and secure the Service. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.
Inbound email data
The inbound email integration is optional. If you choose to use it, the following applies.
How it works
WealthPop generates a unique inbound email address for your account (for example, an opaque token followed by @in.wealthpop.app). When you choose to BCC that address while corresponding with a client, our inbound mail provider delivers the message to a WealthPop webhook. We only ever receive messages that you explicitly BCC.
How we use it
For each BCC’d message, we extract the subject and body text and send them once to our AI provider (Anthropic) to derive general, de-identified topic themes (the kinds of financial-planning questions your clients raise) that help tailor the social media content WealthPop generates for you. We do not use this data for advertising, and we do not sell it.
What we store
We store only the resulting de-identified topic themes, your unique inbound address, and counters showing how many messages have been processed and when the most recent one arrived. We do not store the raw content of your emails, attachments, sender or recipient addresses, or any message-specific metadata. Topic themes are written to exclude names, contact details, dollar amounts, dates, and any other detail that could identify a specific person.
How it is processed
To derive topic themes, the relevant email text is sent to our AI provider (Anthropic) for a single, one-time inference and is not retained by us after that processing. Inbound deliveries are cryptographically signed by our mail provider and verified before processing.
Stopping or resetting the integration
You can rotate your inbound address (revoking the old one) or clear every stored topic theme at any time under Settings → Content topics → From your email. Deleting your account also deletes your inbound address and all derived topics.
How we use information
- Provide and operate the Service.
- Build and save your brand profile.
- Generate on-brand social media content at your request.
- Maintain security and prevent abuse.
- Send account-related email (such as confirmation and password-reset messages).
- Comply with legal obligations.
AI processing and service providers
WealthPop relies on the following third-party processors to operate. Information is shared with them only as needed to provide the Service:
- Supabase — account authentication and database storage.
- Vercel — application hosting and server logs.
- Anthropic (Claude) — generates brand analysis and post captions and derives email topic themes; receives the text needed for these tasks.
- OpenAI — generates post images from text prompts.
- Resend — delivers transactional email (such as account confirmation).
- Forward Email — when you use the inbound BCC integration, receives the BCC’d email on our behalf and forwards it to our webhook over a signed payload. The message is forwarded and discarded; copies are not persisted on the routing provider.
These providers process data under their own terms and security practices. We do not sell your personal information to anyone.
Data retention
We retain your account information and brand profile for as long as your account is active. Email-derived topic themes are retained until you clear them in Settings or delete your account. Raw email content from the inbound integration is never stored. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us at support@wealthpop.app.
Security
We protect data in transit with HTTPS, cryptographically verify inbound webhook deliveries from our mail provider, and use database row-level security so each account can access only its own data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information.
Your rights
You may access, correct, or delete your information. Much of it you can manage directly in the app (your brand, your generated content, and your inbound email address and topics). For account deletion or other requests, contact us at support@wealthpop.app.
Children’s privacy
The Service is intended for businesses and professionals and is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
International users
WealthPop is operated in the United States, and information is processed and stored in the United States and by the providers listed above. By using the Service, you understand your information may be processed in the United States.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. We will revise the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
